Privacy Policy

1. Who this applies to

• Visitors: anyone who visits radworkssoftware.com.
• Prospects: people who fill in the interview on this site to get a plan for an app.
• Clients: businesses that have ordered a RadWorks app, and the people they let use it.

2. What we collect

From prospects. Your email address, your company website address, and your answers to the interview. We also keep the plan (the "blueprint") we write from your answers.

From clients. Your name, email address and company name. Billing details are entered with Stripe, so we never see or store your full card number. We also keep the requests, comments, files and links you send us when you ask for changes to your app. If you send a screen recording link, we download the recording to watch it.

Data inside your app. Your app holds whatever your business and your people put into it, plus anything we import from files you give us. That data belongs to you. We use it only to run, test and improve your app for you.

Automatically. Our servers log IP address, time and browser type for security and troubleshooting. We count visits to this site with our own analytics service, which runs on our own server. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.

3. How your data is kept apart

Each client's app keeps its data in its own separate compartment of our database. Each compartment has its own database login. One client's app cannot read another client's data. Access to our servers is limited to Rad Consultants.

4. How we use data

• To write your plan and build, host, test and improve your app.
• To answer your requests and send you notices about your app, such as a change going live or a question waiting for you.
• To bill you.
• To keep our systems secure and working.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data to train AI models.

5. AI processing

We use Anthropic's Claude API for four jobs: to ask the interview questions, to write your blueprint, to plan and write the changes we make to your app, and to suggest one improvement to your app about once a week. For those jobs we send Anthropic the text of your interview answers, your requests and comments, text from files you attach, and, for a screen recording, the written transcript and still images taken from it. We turn the recording's speech into text on our own server first.

Anthropic does not train its models on API inputs by default. See anthropic.com/privacy for its current policy.

6. Who else handles your data

These are the outside services RadWorks uses. We list only the ones we actually use.

• Anthropic: AI processing, as described above.
• Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
• Microsoft (Outlook): delivery of the emails we send you.
• Backblaze: storage of encrypted backups. It holds only files it cannot read.

If you ask us to connect your app to another system you use, such as your accounting or scheduling tool, we connect only with the access you give us, and only to do what you asked.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

7. Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active.

If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it from our live database within 30 days. To ask, email chris@radconsultants.com. This includes prospects who started the interview and did not become clients.

If you cancel or close your account and do not ask for deletion, we keep your data for 90 days so you can come back and reactivate. After that we delete it from our live database.

Either way, deleted data ages out of our routine backups within a further 30 days. We also keep one archival backup per month for up to 12 months. That copy is for disaster recovery only and is not used for anything else.

An admin on your account can download all of your data at any time, in one file, from the What shipped page of your RadWorks portal, or ask us and we send it. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires, typically 7 years.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy in a common format. Email chris@radconsultants.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, these rights are also set by law. We do not sell personal information.

If a client's app holds personal data about that client's own customers or staff, the client decides what goes in and why. We handle it for the client as its service provider. If you are one of those people, please ask the client first.

9. Security

Traffic to our sites and apps is encrypted with TLS. Backups are encrypted before they leave our server. Each app has its own database login, and apps sign people in with their own accounts. No system is perfectly secure. If you find a security problem, please tell us at chris@radconsultants.com.

10. Children

RadWorks is business software for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will email clients at least 14 days before it takes effect.
